National Grange
The Grange is a family, community organization with its roots in
agriculture. Founded in 1867, the Grange was formed as a national
organization with a local focus. Our members are given the
opportunity to learn and grow to their full potential as citizens
and leaders.

The New York State Grange was founded in 1873. There are more than
187 local Granges in New York State with a total membership of over
7,000.

Putnam Valley Grange
The Putnam Valley Grange is a non-profit all-volunteer family
organization serving its local, state, national and world community
since 1897. Originally a fraternity almost exclusively of farmers,
today’s Grange is an organization open to all those with an interest
in helping others through community involvement, with a special
emphasis on working cooperatively with our environment for the
betterment of all.
